The MaxxGard Combat is made to absorb direct striking blows using firm plastic material. The MaxxGard Flex is made with more flexible and thinner material for non-combat sports.

As a dental lab, we use non-toxic material designed for mouthguards called ethyl vinyl acetate or EVA. All materials are safety-approved and come from professional dental industry suppliers.

How long a mouthguard lasts depends on the age of the athlete, the frequency of use and the care given. Mouthguards can last anywhere between 6 months (child athletes) to a few years (adults).

If for whatever reason you feel that the mouthguard is not comfortable when you receive it, please contact us and we'll solve the issue to your satisfaction.

Yes, as long as you can take the impression, we can make the mouthguard. If there are missing teeth, we build a tooth on the model to create space in the mouthguard for the emerging adult tooth. You should wait for any loose teeth to fall out before taking the impression. Because of the changing mouth size, you can expect a mouthguard lifespan between 6 months to a year.
